Hey, you’re here…great!  You may be racing through your digital device for a fast info fix, but you have landed on Some Gumbo. We are about a slower, richer kind of cooking – longer posts than your typical newsy blog. If you’ve got five or ten minutes, why don’t you take a deep breath, simmer down and settle into a post.

Are you on the phone? Well, we wouldn’t want to read a 2500 word piece on our smart-phone either, but by all means visit again on your pad or laptop when you’ve got the time to savor the gumbo.

And if you are one of those folks who have stumbled onto this blog when you were looking into actual edible gumbo… we sympathize, such is the power of the internet.
